Popoyo, Nicaragua
Popoyo was one of those perfect travel experiences where just the right people show up and make the moment that much more memorable.
In route to Magrock, a higher-end hostel/hotel on the beach, I pick up an Australian surfer on the side of the road walking to the same place. We arrive to each have our own hostel dorm rooms, and almost no other guests.
The following days consisted of surfing, perfect sunsets and breathtaking stargazing.
