Ometepe, Nicaragua

Ometepe was not my favorite place. A quiet island on a very large lake, this area is tropical and has interesting wildlife, but not much culture or liveliness to it. I would come back only with a group or for a specific activity. I'm also jaded from seeing too many lakes and volcanoes recently ;).

To reduce the amount of concrete, this school was built with plastic bottles filled with plastic bags.

My $15 bungalow in the jungle. Equipped with thousands of GIANT killer spiders.
